LMIA, Compliance & Applications
In line with Government of Canada Immigration regulation, companies require a positive LMIA issued by the Government to be able to hire foreign workers. The process for applying for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) document requires the employer to comply with advertisement requirements, wages, labour conditions, preparing a recruitment efforts report and completing the application properly. CPC will assist you in the preparation of the LMIA application for your company.
Once an LMIA is issued to hire the foreign workers, they can proceed to submit their work visa applications at the Canada embassy abroad. If the foreign workers are already in Canada, then they can apply for a change of employer or ask for a work permit extension with the same employer.
If you have already selected your own foreign worker candidates, we can assist you by preparing the Labour Market Opinion (LMO) now called Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and the work visas/permits for those foreign workers.
We have your back at each step of the process. We work with you to manage LMIA related applications, compliance and regulatory process and Provincial Nominations
